Eight Point Solutions Job Placement Policy

Effective: July 2025 · Last Reviewed: 07/09/2025

Eight Point Solutions LLC (“EPS”) provides contractor placement and referral services for individuals pursuing careers in security operations, executive protection, tactical support, and government-aligned defense contracting. This policy defines who is eligible, how placement is conducted, and what standards apply for confidentiality, documentation, and program participation.

1. Policy Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure transparency and accountability in how EPS processes applications and referrals for job placement. It outlines what candidates can expect and what conditions govern our placement process.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for placement consideration through EPS, an applicant must:
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Submit a complete, accurate Job Placement Intake Form
  • Possess or be actively pursuing certifications appropriate to their role, including:
    • Maryland Guard Card (Unarmed or Armed)
    • CPR/AED, TCCC, BLS, or First Aid
    • OC/Baton/Handcuffing
    • State wear & carry permits (if applicable)
  • Not be disqualified by legal or regulatory restrictions (e.g., criminal history, restraining orders, or flagged security clearance)

EPS reserves the right to verify any submitted documentation and conduct background reviews as necessary.

3. Placement Process

EPS facilitates access to job opportunities via a structured workflow:
Step 1: Submission of the placement intake form
Step 2: Credential and eligibility review
Step 3: Matching based on job type, availability, and qualification
Step 4: Referral to EPS-managed or partner positions
Step 5: Onboarding support or additional credentialing (if required)

EPS does not prioritize applicants based on where they trained. All qualified candidates are considered equally.

4. Referral Network

EPS maintains a vetted network of employers and partner organizations. Referral paths may include:
  • Positions directly contracted or managed by EPS
  • External referrals to private security firms, staffing agencies, or government contracting primes

EPS does not charge job seekers and collects no fees or commissions from applicants. However, we do not control hiring decisions, compensation, or worksite terms from third-party employers.

5. Training Requirements

While training is not mandatory to submit an application, many placements will require at least one of the following certifications:
  • Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card
  • Maryland Wear & Carry Permit
  • CPR/AED, BLS, or TCCC certification
  • OC/Baton/Handcuffing
  • Defensive Tactics / Use of Force Credential

EPS may recommend optional training or credential upgrades to meet specific client contract requirements. All training costs are the responsibility of the applicant unless waived in writing.

6. Data Privacy & Confidentiality

EPS handles all applicant data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, distribute, or monetize applicant information. Your personal data is only shared with verified employers or placement partners as necessary for job-matching purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Guarantee

Submitting your intake form does not constitute an employment offer or contract. EPS does not guarantee job placement. Final selection and hiring decisions rest with employers, not EPS.
