
Maryland Wear and Carry Course (2 Day)
Service Description
This two-day course consists of two 8-hour training sessions designed to provide comprehensive instruction on responsible handgun ownership. Day one includes 8 hours of classroom training, covering essential topics like firearm safety, handling techniques, and Maryland firearm laws. Students will learn about self-defense justification, conflict avoidance, and legal guidelines for the use of force. Best practices for storing and transporting firearms will also be discussed. Day two is focused on hands-on live-fire training, with 2 hours of classroom review followed by 6 hours on the range. During this session, students will practice shooting techniques and must complete a practical shooting qualification, achieving at least 70% accuracy from 15 yards with their own handgun. This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed for safe and effective firearm use in real-world situations.

Eight Point Solutions – Training Policy Eligibility: Individuals with felony convictions, crimes of moral turpitude, or under protective orders from any U.S. jurisdiction are ineligible. Misrepresentation will result in dismissal without refund. Firearms & Ammunition: No live ammo or loaded firearms allowed unless under instructor supervision. Only factory-made ammo from reputable brands permitted. Reloads are prohibited. Safety Compliance: All participants must follow firearms safety rules. Unsafe conduct results in immediate dismissal without refund. Substances: No drugs, alcohol, or impairing medication. Violators dismissed on the spot with no refund. Incident Reporting: Report unsafe conditions, misconduct, or equipment issues to staff immediately. Conduct: Harassment, threats, or property damage will result in removal and possible law enforcement referral. Pregnancy: Pregnant students may not attend firearms or strenuous physical training. Disability Accommodations: Reasonable accommodations available with 72-hour advance notice. Academic Integrity: Cheating or falsification of identity/credentials will be reported and result in dismissal. Attendance: Full attendance required. Over 15 minutes late = marked absent. No partial certification issued. Confidentiality: Course materials are proprietary. Sharing, copying, or external use is strictly prohibited. Media Use: No photos, video, or recording without written permission. Dress Code: Mandatory attire: crew neck shirt, pants with belt, closed-toe shoes, and hat. Refunds & Rescheduling: No refunds for any reason. Rescheduling allowed up to 2 times with at least 72 hours' notice. No-shows forfeit fees. Exceptions: Any exceptions require written approval from both instructor and training director. Enforcement: Instructors may remove any participant to protect safety, integrity, or compliance. All decisions are final.
