Training Policies, Safety Protocols, and Eligibility Standards

Purpose and Scope

Eight Point Solutions LLC (“EPS”) enforces strict policies to maintain safety, legal compliance, and operational integrity across all training programs. These standards apply to all participants, instructors, and observers.

Eligibility Requirements

Criminal Disqualification: Individuals convicted of a felony or any offense involving moral turpitude are ineligible to attend EPS training.
Protective Orders: Anyone subject to an active protective order from any U.S. jurisdiction is barred from enrollment.
Legal Firearm Eligibility: All participants must be legally authorized to possess and handle firearms under federal and state law.

Ammunition and Firearm Policy

Live Ammunition Ban: Live ammunition and loaded firearms are prohibited in all training environments unless specifically authorized during live-fire exercises.
Ammunition Standards: Only factory-manufactured ammunition (e.g., Remington, PMC, Fiocchi) is permitted. Reloaded or hand-loaded ammunition is not allowed under any condition.

Firearms Safety Compliance

Safety Protocols: Participants must follow EPS's codified firearm safety rules without exception.
Unsafe Handling: Any negligent act, such as unsafe muzzle direction, unintentional discharge, or failure to follow commands, results in immediate expulsion.

Substance Prohibition

Zero Tolerance: Use of, or impairment from, drugs or alcohol is prohibited during all training events. Violation results in removal without refund.

Incident Reporting

Mandatory Reporting: All safety concerns, rule violations, or equipment failures must be reported immediately to an EPS instructor or training director.

Conduct and Disciplinary Action

Professional Conduct Required: All participants must maintain respect for instructors, EPS staff, facilities, and fellow trainees.
Grounds for Dismissal: Disrespect, insubordination, or unsafe behavior will result in removal.

Pregnancy Policy

Medical Limitation: Pregnant individuals may not participate in live-fire or physically strenuous training for safety reasons.

Accommodations for Disabilities

Advance Notice Required: EPS will make reasonable accommodations for physical disabilities provided the request is submitted in advance and does not compromise safety.

Academic Integrity

No Tolerance for Cheating: Cheating on written or practical exams will result in dismissal and notification to any applicable licensing authority.

Attendance Policy

Mandatory Full Attendance: Participants must attend all sessions. Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes without prior notice) may be disqualified from certification.

Confidentiality of Training Materials

Proprietary Content: All training materials are owned by EPS and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
Media Restrictions: Photography, videography, or audio recording is not allowed without prior written approval.

Dress Code and Required Safety Gear

Mandatory Attire for Live-Fire Training
Participants must wear:
  • Crew-neck shirt
  • Long pants
  • Belt
  • Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or open footwear)
  • Hat or brimmed head covering
  • Eye protection (ANSI Z87+ rated)
  • Hearing protection (electronic preferred)

Failure to comply with this gear standard may result in removal from the training area.

Refund and Rescheduling Policy

No Refunds: Training fees are non-refundable once enrolled.
Rescheduling Requests: Reschedule requests must be submitted in writing and approved by EPS prior to the scheduled training date.

Policy Exceptions

Written Requests Only: All exceptions must be submitted and approved in writing by the lead instructor and training director.

Rule Enforcement and Authority

EPS instructors and the training director maintain full authority to enforce all rules, remove participants, and take corrective actions to ensure safety and course integrity.

Enrollment in any EPS program constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to comply with these policies in full.
